This project started by observing the tape marks left behind in my apartment after removing the Mylar that I used for my previous project Apartment 1. The leftover tape marks felt like invisible scars on me. I connected each mark with black thread, one by one. As the lines linked together, it seemed like the hidden frame of the space, which I hadn’t noticed before, appeared. Then I found the furniture placed around the room looked like the skeleton of the space. To my eyes, all the furniture and objects started to appear white, like the color of bones. I began covering every object with white tape. Since tape sticks to the surface and at the same time erases the color, it is very similar to my way of life. I am attached to it, but at the same time want to erase everything. My daily life in the room changed, and the use of the objects disappeared.

I began to reinterpret the meaning of the objects by grouping them by similar shapes, subconsciously rearranging, compressing, manipulating the position of furniture and objects in my room. And I used the black threads once again that I had used at the beginning of this work, to connect all the crumpled parts where the white tape had not been smoothly attached. After everything, I used transparent tape to completely divide the space into two. Then I brought trees and branches that had been thrown away on the street into the apartment, and connected them using white tape. I planted this tree in the separated space.
